attic fan

so, this past weekend Tish and I got our Attic fan working. Let me just say that it is the most amazing invention since sliced bread, no maybe more than sliced bread because i don't mind my bread being in one huge piece. BUt that is besides the point. So we got the fan working and let me just say that it is incredible. Open the windows, turn it on, and it's like having a fan in every window. it cools the house down so much. Our electric bills will be so cheap! It is such a little thing, that was there all along, but wasn't being used, and we missed out on the joy of it.

You know, there are a lot of little things in life that we don't use and therefore we are missing out on the joy of them. Things like giving to others, serving people, helping those in need, giving of your time to hang with someone who needs encouraged, etc. Perhaps this is this great joy awaiting us when we finally decide to turn on the attic fans of our life.
